Boiling, a Water Expressive Installation democratizes the voice of water in our daily lives. The heat prompts the change of liquid to gas and inspires purification, imprinting its fiery tongues onto the rising bubble streams. Life is, for a moment, suspended as the flames forcefully penetrate the liquid molecules. Arrested in a stunning display, we are reminded that the power of transference is an inevitable power of being alive. The sonic and visual pulses converge, accelerating into entropic polyrhythms with increased heat and dissipating into lonely beats in cooling periods.

Boiling Live is a Mugic sensor-operated performance with boiling water, amplifying and modulating its voice. The sonic and visual pulses converge as the magician accelerates and breaks the entropic polyrhythms, scrubbing the live samples as if a DJ. While playful on surface, Boiling Live articulates some ecological urgencies surrounding the heat rise in our environments.
